Background

I have 14 years` support experience in a Research and Development environment and office environment.

In my previous role as a software developer I coordinated the release of multiple software products and maintained cross-project software components. I provided technical support for many departments, on both in-house and third party products including Microsoft Windows™ and office software.

Prior to this I was a software validation engineer, which involved supervising extra testing staff and required the configuration and support of networked Windows™ PCs and SCADA systems.

Previous projects include:

  • Specifying and maintaining a set of office PCs
  • Maintenance of an MRP system on an RS600 AIX server
  • Installation and configuration of a stock controls system
