Services Offered

I can offer either contract or ad-hoc support depending on your requirements. Both services benefit from fast, friendly response and on-site support. Please note that for all on-site support I charge a minimum of an hour. In rare circumstances I may charge an additional call-out fee to cover transport costs or for out-of- hours emergency calls. I will always let you know about any extra charges before I make the appointment.

Ad-hoc and Pre-pay Support

I can offer both ad-hoc and discounted pre-pay support.

For the ad-hoc support I can only provide:

  • Software and hardware fault finding
  • Basic computer repair
  • Operating system installation
  • Virus, spyware and spam removal
  • Basic data recovery

For the pre-pay support I can also provide telephone support and routine maintenance work.

Contract Support

Contract support can include all the services above as well as the following extra services:

  • Telephone support
  • Remote support
  • Routine maintenance
  • Basic data recovery

I am Brighton-based with my own transport so can make on-site visits to surrounding areas in Sussex. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.


I have more than 14 years’ support experience in a Research & Development environment and office environment. In my previous role as a software developer I coordinated the release of multiple software products and maintained cross-project software components. I provided technical support for many departments on both in-house and third party products, including Microsoft Windows™ and office software.

Prior to this I was a software validation engineer, which involved supervising extra testing staff and required the configuration and support of networked Windows™ PCs and SCADA systems.
